MONMOUTH COUNTY AUTHORITIES CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE THURSDAY NIGHT'S FATAL SHOOTING

     " Police Are Investigating The Circumstance Surrounding A Shooting That Has Claimed The Life Of Kyshawn Walker Of Asbury Park."

ASBURY PARK, NJ.- On Friday, July 28, 2022, Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced that Detectives are actively Investigating the Fatal Shooting that occurred Thursday night in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

     On Thursday, July 28, 2022, Members of The Asbury Park Police Department responded to the area of The 1600 Block of Sewall Avenue on a report of a Shooting.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located Kyshawn Walker, 33, of Asbury Park, suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. Mr. Walker was immediately transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

     No Arrests have been made. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
