Juvenile Charged In Pennsauken Shooting

TEEN CHARGED WITH SHOOTING A MAN IN THE HAND WITH A GHOST GUN ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON

     " A Male Juvenile Has Been Charged With Attempted Murder & Weapons Offenses In Thursday's Late Afternoon Shooting In Pennsauken, New Jersey."

PENNSAUKEN, NJ.- On Friday, May 27, 2022 Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pennsauken Acting Police Chief Phil Olivo announced a male juvenile has been Arrest and Charged in connection with the late Thursday afternoon Shooting of 18-Year-Old man in Pennsauken, New Jersey.

     On Thursday, May 26, 2022, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Members of The Camden County Prosecutor's Office and The Pennsauken Police Department responded to the area of The 4700 Block of Westfield Avenue on a report of a Shooting.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a victim, an 18-Year-Old man having sustained a Gunshot Wound to his hand. The man was transported to Cooper University Hospital for treatment.

     The subsequent investigation by Pennsauken Police Department and Camden County Detectives led to the apprehension of a juvenile suspect in Pennsauken. During the Arrest, Police Officer located an Untraceable Firearm or "Ghost Gun" with an Extended Magazine.

     The Juvenile Suspect is currently lodged in in The Camden County Juvenile Detention Center.
