FEMALE DRIVER IS KILLED IN EARLY SUNDAY MORNING MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT

MARLBORO, NJ.- On Monday, February 14, 2022 Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced Local and County Law Enforcement Officials are looking for any witnesses to a Motor Vehicle Collision that Claimed the Life of a Female Driver in the early morning hours on Sunday, February 13, 2022.
On Sunday, February 13, 2022, at approximately 2:22 a.m., Members of The Marlboro Police Department responded to the intersection of Route 9 South and Route 520 on a report of Motor Vehicle Crash. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a Crash between a 2019 Cadillac XT5 Crossover and a 2018 Nissan Altima.
The preliminary investigation determined that the Cadillac XT5 Crossover operated by Male Driver was travelling Southbound on Route 9 when it collided with the Nissan Altima Operated by a Female Driver at the Intersection of Route 520. The Altima continued on Striking a Utility Pole.
The Female Driver of the Nissan Altima was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at 3:04 a.m., Sunday.
The Male Driver of the Cadillac XT5 was uninjured in the Motor Vehicle Crash.
