US AIR FORCE MEMBER FROM JERSEY CITY ARRESTED IN ARIZONA ON CHARGES OUT OF HUDSON COUNTY

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Wednesday, February 9, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Members of The United States Marshals Service Arizona Violent Offender Task Force, in conjunction with The New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, Arrested a 30-Year-Old Jersey City man on Sex Crime Charges involving his 9-Year-Old Daughter. At least one of the crimes occurred while the man was stationed in Dubai as a Member of The U.S. Air Force and involved the Transmission of Explicit Images and Videos while the Daughter was in Jersey City, New Jersey.
The name of the defendant is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
The Airman has been Charged with First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; First Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Two Counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Second Degree Sexual Assault by Contact; and Second Degree Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault.
The Airman's Daughter was between the Ages of Eight and Nine at the time the crimes occurred. The Airman remains in custody in Arizona while awaiting Extradition to New Jersey.
