Easton Pennsylvania Man Charged

EASTON PENNSYLVANIA MAN REMAINS AT LARGE AFTER BEING CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH A PHILLIPSBURG SHOOTING 

     " Larry Roberts Of Easton Charged With Multiple Offenses In Connection With The February 8, 2022 Phillipsburg Shooting Incident & An Earlier Gas Station Robbery."

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ.- On Wednesday, February 16, 2022 Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer announced an investigation into The Brainard Street Shooting Incident by The Phillipsburg Police Department in conjunction with The Warren County Prosecutor's Office and assisted by The New Jersey State Police have resulted in Charges being Filed against Larry Roberts of Easton, Pennsylvania.


     During the evening hours of Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Members of The Phillipsburg Police Department responded to Brainard Street in The Town of Phillipsburg on a report of Shots being Fired. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene, but no victim was located. 


     After an extensive and swift investigation, Authorities were able to identify Mr. Roberts as a Suspect and the individual responsible for the Shooting.



     Mr. Roberts has been Charged with One Count of Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; One Count of Second Degree Unlawful Possession Of a Weapon; and One Count of Fourth Degree Contempt of Court.


     In an unrelated investigation, The Greenwich Township Police Department in conjunction with The Warren County Prosecutor's Office has Filed Charges against Mr. Roberts, in connection with The December 5, 2021 Fuel One Gas Station Armed Robbery. 


     In that investigation Mr. Roberts was Charged with One Count of First Degree Armed Robbery; One Count of First Degree Conspiracy to Commit Robbery; One Count of Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; One Count of Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and One Count of Third Degree Theft.


     It is alleged that on December 5, 2021 Mr. Roberts and Two unidentified Co-Conspirators Robbed the Gas Station at Gunpoint taking approximately $600.00 in Cash and $200.00 in Merchandise from the attendant. 


     Despite being Charged in both incidents Mr. Roberts remains At Large. Mr. Roberts should be considered Armed and Dangerous, if seen you should not approach him, but contact Police at Once.
