A 36 YEAR OLD CRANBURY WOMAN WITH AN APPARENT DEATH WISH HAS NOW BEEN CHARGED WITH A DEATH OF ANOTHER
" Lisa Pollitt In An Apparent Failed Suicide Attempt Has Been Charged In The Death Of A 95-Year-Old Woman For Intentionally Driving Her Vehicle Head On Into Another Vehicle."

CRANBURY, NJ.- On Tuesday, February 15, 2022 Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Cranbury Police Chief Michael J. Owens announced that a 36-Year-Old Cranbury, New Jersey woman has been Charged in connection with a Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash, which claimed the Life of an individual and left another critically injured in another vehicle involved in the collision.
An investigation conducted by Detective Paul Lindenfeld of The Cranbury Police Department in conjunction with Jonathan Berman of The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office determined that, on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at approximately 4:12 p.m., Lisa Pollitt, 36, of Cranbury, New Jersey intentionally drove her vehicle into oncoming traffic where she Struck the Victims who were travelling Northbound on Route 130.
Both women in the vehicle that was Struck by Ms. Pollitt's Vehicle sustained Serious Bodily Injuries and were transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital where the Passenger Ann "Nancy" Stewart, 95, of Monroe, New Jersey remained in Critical Condition.
On Saturday, February 12, 2022, Ms. Stewart succumbed to her injuries she sustained in the Crash and was pronounced deceased.
Ms. Pollitt was initially Arrested and Charged with Second and Third Degree Aggravated Assault and Fourth Degree Obstruction of Justice. Upon the Death of Ms, Stewart, Ms. Pollitt was Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder.
At this time, The Murder appears to be a random act as Ms. Pollitt and the victims are unknown to each other. Ms. Pollitt remains in Custody pending a Detention Hearing in Middlesex County State Superior Court.
