29 YEAR OLD BAYONNE MAN CHARGED WITH BUYING ALCOHOL FOR MINORS AND SEXUAL ASSAULT

BAYONNE, NJ.- On Tuesday, February 15, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that on Monday, February 14, 2022, Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit Arrested Michael Serrano, 29, of Bayonne, New Jersey on Charges relating to an incident where he provided Two Minors with Alcoholic Beverages and then Committed a Sex Crime upon a 14-Year-Old Girl.
Mr. Serrano was Charged with Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact; Two Counts of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Mr. Serrano was Arrested and Processed on the Charges at The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City, New Jersey and remanded to The Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny, New Jersey.
On Friday, July 16, 2021, representatives from The Bayonne Medical Center Emergency Room contacted The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office after a 14-Year-Old Girl reported being the victim of a Sex Crime.
An subsequent investigation by The Special Victims Unit determined Mr. Serrano provided Two Teenage Girls, Ages 14 and 15, with Alcoholic Beverages. After the Girls became intoxicated, Mr. Serrano then parked behind a building on Lefante Way and Committed a Sex Crime on the 14-Year-Old victim in the back seat of a vehicle, while the 15-Year-Old was present when the Crime was Committed.
