Rochelle Park Death Investigation

BERGEN COUNTY AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATING THE DEATHS OF A MAN AND HIS EX WIFE FOUND INSIDE A ROCHELLE PARK RESIDENCE THIS MORNING

     " Investigation Continues After Rochelle Park Police Discovered The Bodies Of Marcos Gagnon & Mandy Staples."

ROCHELLE PARK, NJ.- On Saturday, January 8, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced Detectives are continuing to investigate the Deaths of Two Deceased individuals found inside a Rochelle Park, New Jersey residence today.



     On Saturday, January 8, 2022, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Members of The Rochelle Police Department responded to a residence at 44 Schlosser Drive, on a 911 Emergency Call reporting that there were two unconscious individuals inside.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered the deceased bodies of two individuals, identified as Marcos Gagnon, 43, and his ex-wife Mandy Staples, 35, on the second floor of the residence. At this time the Cause and Manner of Death have not been determined.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. The investigation is being conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit under the direction of Chief Jason Love, The Bergen County Sheriff's Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton, and The Rochelle Park Police Department under the direction of Chief Dean Pinto.


     No additional information was available at the time of reporting, but authorities confirm that this appears to be an isolated incident.
