Two Arrested In 2020 Burglaries

TWO PORT JERVIS MEN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE MAY 2020 BURGLARY OF TWO WIRELESS PHONE STORES IN BERGEN COUNTY

     " Lourriston Potter & Ricky Land Are Charged In Connection With The May 4, 2020 Montvale & The May 9, 2020 Paramus AT&T Wireless Stores."

HACKENSACK, NJ.- On Monday, December 20, 2021 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrests of Lourriston Potter, 29, of Port Jervis, New York and Ricky Land, 30, currently incarcerated in the Pike County, PA Correctional Facility, on Burglary and Theft Charges. 



     These Arrests are the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love, The Paramus Police Department under the direction of Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg, and The Montvale Police Department under the direction of Chief Joseph Sanfilippo.


     During a One and a Half Year Long investigation by Detectives from The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, The Paramus Police Department and The Montvale Police Department, Mr. Potter and Mr. Land were identified as Suspects in Commercial Burglaries which occurred at AT&T Wireless stores in Montvale, New Jersey on May 4, 2020 and Paramus, New Jersey on May 9, 2020.



     On Friday, December 17, 2021, Members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, The Port Jervis, New York Police Department and The Pike County, Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Office Arrested Mr. Potter without incident at his home. Subsequently, Mr. Land was served with Charges while incarcerated at the Pike County Correctional Facility on an unrelated matter.


Mr. Potter and Mr. Land were each Charged with Two Counts of Third Degree Burglary; Two Counts of Third Degree Criminal Mischief; Two Counts of Third Degree Conspiracy to Commit Burglary; and One Count of Third Degree Theft by Unlawful Taking.
