Pedestrian Injured In Hit & Run

83-YEAR-OLD JERSEY CITY WOMAN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN WEDNESDAY NIGHT'S HIT AND RUN

     " A Driver Fled The Scene After Striking A 83-Year-Old Woman On Kennedy Boulevard In Jersey City, New Jersey On Wednesday Night."

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Thursday, November 18, 2021 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at approximately 7:20 p.m., Members of The Jersey City Police Department responded to the area of John F. Kennedy Boulevard near Harrison Avenue in Jersey City, New Jersey on reports of a Pedestrian Struck with Serious Injuries.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found an 83-Year-Old Jersey City Woman who was Struck and Seriously Injured while crossing John F. Kennedy Boulevard. 


     The was immediately transported to Jersey City Medical Center where she remains in Critical Condition. The driver who struck the woman Fled the Scene in a Red or Maroon sedan.



     The events surrounding the Crash remain under investigation by The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit with assistance from The Jersey City Police Department. 


     No Charges have been filed at this time.
