24-YEAR-OLD MAHWAH MAN CHARGED IN CONNECTION TO THE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

MAHWAH, NJ.- On Wednesday, November 3, 2021 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrest of Quinn T. Dickson, 24, of Mahwah, New Jersey on Child Pornography and Child Endangerment Charges. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.
On Wednesday, November 3, 2021, Members of The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a Court Authorized search warrant at the residence of Mr. Dickson after the course of a months-long Internet Child Pornography Investigation.
The investigation Determined that Mr. Dickson used the Internet to View, Download, and Possess approximately 800 Digital Files Depicting Nude and or Sexually Explicit Prepubescent Children. Furthermore, Mr. Dickson shared digital files by way of the Internet Depicting Nude and or Sexually Explicit Prepubescent Children.
The investigation also determined that Mr. Dickson used Social Media to make contact with Children, some of whom were younger than Thirteen Years of Age, and engage them in Sexually Explicit Conversations. During such online chats, Mr. Dickson instructed two different children to produce and send him Sexually Explicit Photos and or Videos.
As a result of the investigation, Mr. Dickson was Arrested on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in Paramus, New Jersey, and Charged with One Count of First Degree Production of Child Pornography; One Count of Second Degree Distribution of Child Pornography; One Count of Third Degree Possession of Child Pornography Greater than 100 Files; and One Count of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Mr. Dickson was processed on the Charges and remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
