JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Wednesday, November 10, 2021 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that on Sunday, November 7, 2021, Colombian Law Enforcement, in conjunction with The United States Marshals Service Colombia Foreign Field Office and The United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force brought into custody a Jersey City man who was Wanted on Charges that he Sexually Assaulted a 7-Year-Old Girl last month in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Abel Ore-Guzman, 63, of Jersey City was transported to the United States and Arrested at Newark International Airport on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at approximately 3:45 p.m., Mr. Guzman has been charged with Second Degree Sexual Assault by Contact; Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Second Degree Attempting to Lure or Entice a Child. The alleged Assaults occurred in late October while the defendant was renting a room in the victim’s family’s home.
Hudson County Prosecutor Suarez credited The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims, The Jersey City Police Department, Colombian law enforcement and The United States Marshals Service with the investigation and Arrest.
