Two Trenton Men Arrested On Murder Charges

TWO TRENTON NEW JERSEY MEN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO SUNDAY'S ROEBLING AVENUE HOMICIDE

     " Thaddeus J. Adams & Clarence Williams Are Charged With Murder, Robbery, & Weapons Related Offenses In The Sunday Shooting Death Of Elias Juarez-Lopez In Trenton, New Jersey."

TRENTON, NJ.- On Thursday, October 7, 2021 Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced that based upon an investigation conducted by The Mercer County Homicide Task Force has resulted in the Arrest and Charges being filed against two Trenton, New Jersey men in the Sunday, October 3, 2021 Homicide of Elias Juarez-Lopez.

     Thaddeus J. Adams, 40, and Clarence Williams, 35, are each Charged with First Degree Murder; First Degree Felony Murder; First Degree Attempted Murder, Two Counts of Robbery, and Multiple Second Degree Weapons Offenses. Both men were arrested Thursday morning in Trenton by Members of The Mercer County Tactical Response Team with assistance from Mercer County Homicide Task Force Detectives and The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office will file motions in Mercer County Superior Court to detain the men pending trial.

     On Sunday, October 3, 2021 Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to the intersection of Roebling Avenue and Washington Street on a report of shots fired. 

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located an adult male victim, later identified as 31-Year Old Lopez of Princeton, New Jersey in the 800 Block of Roebling Avenue with no pulse. Mr Juarez Lopez was immediately transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
