TRENTON, NJ.- On Thursday, October 7, 2021 Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced that The Mercer County Homicide Task Force is currently investigating a Trenton Homicide that occurred today at 6:00 a.m.
On Thursday, October 7, 2021, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to a multiple ShotSpotter Activation in the First Block of Hoffman Avenue in Trenton, New Jersey.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a male victim lying on the ground between 165 and 167 Hoffman Avenue, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, later identified as Douglas Munn, 50, of Trenton, New Jersey was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced a short time later.
