Harrington Park Man Charged

HARRINGTON PARK NEW JERSEY MAN CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH BEATING A WOMAN TO DEATH WITH A HAMMER IN NORTHVALE NEW JERSEY

     " Christian Giron Has Been Charged With Murder & Related Weapons Offenses In The Wednesday Morning Beating Death Of Jeanette Willem"

NORTHVALE, NJ.- On Wednesday, October 27, 2021 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrest of Christian V. Giron, 24, of Harrington Park, New Jersey on Charges of Murder, Weapon Possession and Hindering his own Apprehension. 



     The Arrest is the result of an investigation by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love, The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton, and The Northvale Police Department under the direction of Chief Howard Ostrow. 


     On Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at approximately 8:15 AM, Members of The Northvale Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting an injured party located at 151 Ludlow Avenue, Northvale, New Jersey. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located 43-Year-Old Jeanette A. Willem deceased from a head wound.


     An investigation conducted by Detectives from The Northvale Police Department and The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit determined that Mr. Giron Murdered Jeanette A. Willem with a hammer.


     Based upon the investigation, On Wednesday, October 27, 2021, Detectives Arrested and Charged Mr. Giron with One Count of First Degree Murder; One Count of Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; One Count of Third Degree Hindering his own Apprehension by Concealing Evidence; and One Count of Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. 


     After being taken into custody, Mr. Giron was processed on the charges and was remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
