CUMBERLAND COUNTY AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATING A FRIDAY NIGHT SHOOTING THAT LEFT ONE DEAD AND ANOTHER INJURED

BRIDGETON, NJ.- On Sunday, October 10, 2021 Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae announced that on Friday, October 8, 2021, at approximately 10:28 p.m., Members of The Bridgeton Police Department responded to 138 Vine Street, on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located Tyrese J. McNair, 21, of Bridgeton, New Jersey who had succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. Mr. McNair was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
Minutes later, Bridgeton Police Officers located another 21-Year-Old man at the intersection of Hampton and Giles Streets, suffering from gunshot wounds to his abdomen and arm. The man was immediately transported to Cooper Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
