3.5 Kilograms Of Fentanyl Seized

CAMDEN COUNTY NARCOTICS TASK FORCE SEIZES ENOUGH FENTANYL THAT COULD POTENTIALLY KILL 3.5 MILLION PEOPLE

     " Camden County Authorities Shuts Down Pill Mill Operating In Camden, New Jersey Putting A Stop To Fatal Drug Overdoses."

CAMDEN, NJ.- On Friday, October 8, 2021 Acting Camden County Prosecutor announced that following a six-month investigation, The Camden County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics in conjunction with multiple Law Enforcement Agencies successfully broke up a Pill Mill Operation in Camden, New Jersey.


     The investigation was a collaboration between The Camden County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force, New Jersey State Police Trafficking South Unit, New Jersey State Police Hazardous Materials Response Unit, The Cherry Hill Police Department, and The Pennsauken Police Department.


     The Pill Mill operated at two locations, one located on the 1100 Block of South Merrimac Road and the other on the 2900 Block of North 36th Street, within The City of Camden.


     After obtaining a Court Authorized Search Warrant, Police Officers seized 3.5 Kilograms of suspected Fentanyl, plus suspected Crack Cocaine and Powder Cocaine from the two properties. Police Officers also seized two Pill Presses, over Five Pounds of Cutting Agents, and more than 8,300 Pills. Authorities also seized two Handguns with extended Magazines and one rifle with a silencer, the two Handguns were Ghost Guns with no traceable serial numbers. Additionally Law Enforcement Authorities seized more than $20,000. in Cash from both locations.


     Additionally, Detectives obtained a second Court Authorized Search Warrant, and executed it at a Pennsauken Storage Facility, and recovered an additional four Handguns, a compact style AK-47 Automatic Weapon, and additional Pill making material consistent with Fentanyl Pill Manufacturing.


     Two men were apprehended. The men have been Charged with First Degree Maintaining a Drug Manufacturing Facility and Weapons Offenses. If convicted both men could be subject to over Twenty Years in New Jersey State Prison.


     Recently, on Friday, October 4, 2021 Camden County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force partnered with  Federal Authorities apprehended three individuals and seized 66.3 Kilograms of Fentanyl from a home in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
