Early Sunday Morning Shooting In Passaic

EARLY SUNDAY MORNING GUNFIRE IN PASSAIC NEW JERSEY INJURES A SCARSDALE, NEW YORK MAN

     " After Being Accosted By A Group Of Individuals In The Area Of 3rd & Essex Streets In Passaic A 28-Year-Old Scarsdale Man Is Struck By Gunfire, Early This Morning."

PASSAIC, NJ.- On Sunday, October 3, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman announced that on October 3, 2021, at approximately 2:45 a.m. Members of The Passaic Police Department responded to the area of 3rd and Essex Streets in Passaic, New Jersey on a report of a shooting. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene and a 28-Year-Old Scarsdale, New York man who had sustained a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound. The victim was immediately transported to Saint Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic for treatment.



      Based upon the initial investigation, the victim was accosted by several unidentified individuals in the area of 3rd and Essex Streets in Passaic, when he was shot.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once it is released by authorities.
