WATERFORD TOWNSHIP NEW JERSEY COUPLE CHARGED WITH ANIMAL CRUELTY OFFENSES

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Friday, September 10, 2021 Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Waterford Township Police Chief Daniel Cormaney announced the filing of Charges against the owners of a dog breeding service, who allegedly sold sick puppies to individuals.
The Waterford Township Police Department received two complaints from people claiming they purchased a puppy in August from Casey & Kristina Gleockler, at their home in Atco, New Jersey. The individuals stated that their dogs quickly showed signs of being sick.
One of the puppies died the next night. The owner was told by a veterinarian the puppy may have had Parvo a Deadly Virus that spreads among dogs. The other puppy survived.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for the Gleocklers' Home. The subsequent search found that the Gleocklers' had Twenty Eight Dogs, most of them puppies inside their residence. The Dogs were transferred to an animal shelter in Media, Pennsylvania for testing and treatment. In addition to the dogs, Detectives found Three Cats and multiple Livestock Animals on The Property.
Casey Gleockler, 40, and Kristina Gleockler have each been Charged with One Count of Fourth Degree Animal Cruelty and One Count of Fourth Degree Offering a Diseased Animal For Sale. The Gleocklers were processed and released on a summons pending future court proceedings.
