Second Saturday Paterson Shooting

SECOND SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2021 PATERSON SHOOTING INJURES THREE, BRINGS THE TOTAL TO SEVEN STRUCK BY GUNFIRE 

     " Late Saturday Night Paterson Shooting In The Area Of 11th Avenue & East 35th Street Injures 3 Paterson Residents."

PATERSON, NJ.- On Sunday, September 12, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at approximately 11:58 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 11th Avenue and East 35th Street in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of a shooting. 



     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene and a 20-year-old male Paterson, New Jersey resident who sustained multiple non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment. 


     While investigating,  Police Officers were notified that a 27-year-old male Paterson,New Jersey resident and a 25-year-old male Paterson, New Jersey resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson via private vehicle seeking treatment for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.


The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once it is released by authorities.
