WASHINGTON, DC.- Once again The Far-Left Progressive Squad Members of The House of Representatives, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez demonstrates their inability to Govern, as they call on President Biden to replace Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell to be replaced.
In a joint statement, Ocasio-Cortez along with Rashida Talib and Ayanna Pressley urged Biden to replace The Federal Chairman, so The Federal Reserve can focus its policies on redistributing economic resources based on race and class.
" Our concerns with Chair Powell's track record are two-fold. Under his leadership The Federal Reserve has taken very little action to mitigate the risks of climate change poses to our financial system."
They further criticized Powell for " weakening regulations imposed following the 2008 Financial Crisis that they say risks the livelihood of Americans across the country.
In their Joint statement on Monday, it just once again shows their inability to Govern, or their lack of knowledge of the operations of The United States Federal Reserve. The main functions of The Fed are, Controlling Interest Rates, Regulating Banking Institutions, Protecting Credit Rights Of Consumers, Maintaining A Balanced Economy, and Conducting Monetary Policy which promotes maximum employment and stable prices in The U.S. Economy.
Nevertheless The Squad calls for Chairman Powell to be replaced, when in fact The Federal Reserve joined an International Network of Financial Regulators focused on climate change, and Powell himself warned that climate change requires "Bold Steps and Decades of Sustained Efforts."
" In The United States, our society's overall response to addressing climate change will have to come from elected officials who have sought and received a mandate from voters," Powell said.
" Today, climate change is not something we directly consider in setting Monetary Policy," Powell added.
" Once again theey have no clue of their claims against Chairman Powell. In 2012 Jerome Powell was appointed to The Federal Reserve Board of Governors by President Obama, and their claims that Powell had weakened regulations imposed following the 2008 Financial Crisis, after 2021 regulations were increased against Banking Institutions.
As inflation rates continue to climb, and millions of Americans face the potential plight of becoming homeless in upcoming months, the squad finds it necessary to call on Biden to replace Chairman Powell rather than addressing the real crises in America, we can only hope America doesn't collapse before The 2022 Midterm Elections.
From Immigration, to calls to Defund the Police, and the $3.5 Trillion Human Infrastructure Plan, The Members of The Progressive Squad are no more than A Cheerleading platform for The United States to become a Socialist Republic, a warning to many in the country, although Socialism may seem to be the right course for America, but you will regret final outcome.
Remember Chairman Powell and The Board of Governors saved the Country from an economic collapse during the pandemic.
