WAYNE, NJ.- On Sunday, September 5, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Wayne Police Chief Jack McNiff announce that on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at approximately 2:10 a.m., Members of The Wayne Police Department responded to the area of Mountain View Boulevard and Parish Drive in Wayne, New Jersey on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a possible crime scene but were unable to locate a victim.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information into the shooting may become available once it is released by authorities.
