CAMDEN, NJ.- On Wednesday, September 22, 2021 Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Camden County Metro Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez announced that a $1,000.00 Reward is being offered for information leading to the Arrest and Conviction of the man responsible for the Homicide of Edward Dupont, 53, of Camden, New Jersey.
On July 6, 2021, Mr. Dupont, while riding his bicycle in the area of 7th and Pine Streets in Camden, was struck in the head by an unknown man. This caused Mr. Dupont to fall from his bicycle and strike his head against the pavement.
Mr. Dupont lost consciousness, and was transported to Cooper Hospital, where he succumbed to his injury on July 25, 2021, and was pronounced deceased.
Detectives are distributing flyers throughout the area, which features photos of Mr. Dupont, and Police contact information.
