30-YEAR-OLD OHIO MAN HAS BEEN EXTRADITED TO NEW JERSEY TO FACE MURDER CHARGES IN THE JUNE 24, 2021 FATAL SHOOTING

BRIDGETON, NJ.- On Tuesday, September 7, 2021 Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae announced that Darryl Wallace, 30, of Ohio has been returned to New Jersey to face Murder and Weapons Charges in connection with the Thursday, June 24, 2021 Fatal Shooting of Dominick Hull.
The Charges are in direct connection to the June 24, 2021 Shooting which occurred at The Carlton House Apartment Complex in Millville, New Jersey. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a victim lying in the parking lot of the complex, who had sustained a gunshot wound to his head. The victim, later identified as Dominick Hull was immediately transported to Cooper Hospital, where one week later Mr. Hull succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased on July 1, 2021.
Surveillance video obtained from the Apartment Complex revealed that Mr. Wallace approached a group of individuals in the parking lot and fired multiple shots at them, striking Mr. Hull.
Mr. Wallace was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona on August 12, 2021. After waiving extradition Mr. Wallace was returned to New Jersey on September 1, 2021, and is currently lodged in The Cumberland County Jail. The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office has filed a motion in State Superior Court to have Wallace detained pending the adjudication of the charges against him.
