PATERSON, NJ.- On Tuesday, September 7, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that on Monday, September 6, 2021, at approximately 8:30 p.m, Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to a report of a 46-year-old male Paterson, New Jersey resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The initial investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the area of Summer Street and Broadway in Paterson, New Jersey. A potential crime scene was subsequently located in that area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once it is released by authorities.
