A LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP NEW JERSEY VIOLIN TEACHER HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT OFFENSES

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ.- On Friday, September 24, 2021 Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Plainsboro Police Chief Fred Tavener announced that a Lawrence Township, New Jersey man has been charged with the Sexual Assault of a minor known to him.
On Thursday, September 23, 2021, Dezheng Ping, 57, of Lawrence Township was Arrested and Charged with One Count of Second Degree Sexual Assault; One Count of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and One Count of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact.
Following an investigation by Members of The Plainsboro Police Department in conjunction with The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, as well as assistance from The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office and The West Windsor Police Department, authorities determined that, in 2016, Mr. Ping inappropriately touched a 12-Year-Old Child during a violin lesson, at that time in Mr. Ping's Plainsboro, New Jersey residence.
Mr. Ping is employed by Rider University at The Westminster Choir College and provides violin instruction in West Windsor and Plainsboro, New Jersey.
