SHOOTING IN THE AREA OF EAST 22nd AND PARK AVENUE IN PATERSON NEW JERSEY

     " Passaic County Authorities Investigating A Shooting That Injured Paterson, New Jersey Resident."

PATERSON, NJ.- On Thursday, August 12, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announce that on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at approximately 6:02 p.m., Members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East 22nd Street and Park Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of a shooting. 

      Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene and an 18- Year-Old male Paterson, New Jersey resident who had sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once it is released by authorities.
