Hackettstown New Jersey Couple Charged

 A HACKETTSTOWN NEW JERSEY COUPLE HAVE BEEN CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH APRIL 6, 2021 HARASSMENT INCIDENT

     " Michael & Spring Tremblay Have Been Charged In Connection With The Harassment Of A Juvenile On Tuesday, April 6, 2021."

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ.- On Wednesday, August 18, 2021 Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer announced the arrest of Michael Tremblay, 43, of Hackettstown, New Jersey and Spring Tremblay, 45, of Hackettstown, New Jersey on Charges of Harassment and Weapons Offenses.



     On Tuesday, April 6, 2021, Members of The Independence Township Police Department responded to a residence on Petersburg Road in Hackettstown, New Jersey on a report of an altercation between two individuals. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a juvenile and Mr. Tremblay. 


     Mr. Tremblay had accused the juvenile of driving unsafely on his driveway while dropping off a friend who resided in a rental apartment on Tremblay's property. Mr. Tremblay confronted the juvenile by driving his vehicle alongside the juvenile's vehicle. The juvenile reported seeing Tremblay with a firearm during the confrontation.


     A Court Authorized Search Warrant was obtained by Police Officers for the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Tremblay. The subsequent search revealed a large quantity of ammunition in various sizes. Neither Mr. nor Mrs. Tremblay were legally eligible to possess ammunition.


     On Wednesday, August 11, 2021, Michael Tremblay was formally Charged with Fourth Degree Certain Persons Not to Have Weapons; Fourth Degree Illegal Possession of Ammunition; and a Disorderly Persons Offense of Harassment.


     On Wednesday, August 11, 2021, Spring Tremblay was formally Charged with Fourth Degree Certain Persons Not to Have Weapons; and Fourth Degree Illegal Possession of Ammunition.


     After processing on the charges, both Mr. and Mrs. Tremblay were remanded to The Warren County Correctional Center pending their first appearance in Warren County State Superior Court.
