BERGEN COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE INVESTIGATING THE DISCOVERY OF HUMAN REMAINS FOUND THIS MORNING IN RIDGEFIELD PARK NEW JERSEY

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ.- On Friday, August 13, 2021 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that The bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and The Ridgefield Park Police Department are investigating the discovery of human remains in the area of Hobart Street and Teaneck Road in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.
At approximately 10:38 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2021, Members of The Ridgefield Police Department responded to the area on a report of a suspicious large plastic container having been left in the Street. Human remains were located in the container, and the circumstances of the death and origin of the container are being investigated.
An investigation is being conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and The Ridgefield Park Police Department under the direction of Chief Joseph Rella.
