Mount Laurel Residents Protest Peacefully

RESIDENTS OF A MOUNT LAUREL CONDOMINIUM COMPLEX PROTEST IN FRONT OF NEIGHBORS HOME ON MONDAY AFTERNOON

     " Edward Matthews Was Charged With Harassment & Bias Intimidation Aimed At His Neighbors In Mount Laurel, New Jersey."

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ.- About 150 people held a peaceful protest Monday Afternoon outside the home of a 45-Year-Old man who was seen on Social Media making a Profane and Racist Tirade, apparently against one of his neighbors in a Mount Laurel, New Jersey Condominium Complex.

     According to Police, Edward Matthews has been charged with Harassment and Bias Intimidation. Word got out after Matthews was released on Summons. Word further spread about The Racist and Offenses Language that he had been accused of using against one of his neighbors.

     A pair of Police Officers guarded Matthews house at the corner of Coventry and Gramercy Ways in Mount Laurel, as protesters assembled on Matthews front lawn.

     Demonstrator Aliya Robinson said Matthews has been trying to intimidate residents for years,

     " He's targeting the Black Association Members now," Robinson said. " He wants us, I guess, to go back to Africa, go back to our country ? 'You're targeting the higher-ups because we can't have leadership positions ?' ' This is crazy," Robinson said.

     In a Statement Mount Laurel Police said it does not tolerate Hate or Bias Intimidation in any form. They call this type of behavior "Totally Unacceptable" and said Racist Incidents would be thoroughly investigated.
