A MAYWOOD NEW JERSEY MAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGES

MAYWOOD, NJ.- On Wednesday, July 7, 2021, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Jeffrey T. Stockman, 49, of Maywood, New Jersey on Sexual Assault Charges. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and The Maywood Police Department under the direction of Police Chief Terence Kenny.
On Sunday, July 4, 2021, The Maywood Police Department contacted The Bergen County Police Department regarding the Sexual Assault of a Minor. An investigation was initiated by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit and The Maywood Police Department. During the investigation it was determined that Jeffrey T. Stockman engaged in Inappropriate Sexual Conduct with a Juvenile while in Maywood, New Jersey.
As a result of the investigation, on Monday, July 5, 2021, Jeffrey T. Stockman was arrested and charged with One Count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, One Count of Second Degree Sexual Assault, and One Count of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Stockman was remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending a First Appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey
The investigation also revealed that Stockman had Sexually Assaulted a second Juvenile victim. Therefore on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, Stockman was additional charged with One Count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault and One Count of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was served with these charges while at The Bergen County Jail.
