Man Robs Runnemede Bank

 A MAN ROBS BANK INSIDE RUNNEMEDE, NEW JERSEY INSIDE ACME SUPERMARKET

     " At 1:10 P.M. Yesterday A Man Walked Into A Citizens Bank And Demanded Money In Specific Denominations."

RUNNEMEDE, NJ.- On Tuesday, July 13, 2021 Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Runnemede Police Chief William Sampolski announced an investigation is underway into a Bank Robbery, which was reported at approximately 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.


     At approximately 1:100 p.m., yesterday a white male entered the Acme Supermarket located at 501 East Evesham Road in Runnemede, New Jersey. The man went directly to The Citizens Bank inside the supermarket, and passed a note to the teller. In the note, the man demanded in specific denominations and threatened to shoot the teller, if she did not comply with his demands.


     The man is described as being approximately Six-Foot Tall, Slim Build, Shaved Head, Blonde Beard, wearing Dark Glasses and a Dark Shirt, and Blue Jeans.


     Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the man who was captured on the banks surveillance video.



     Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident.
