Hawthorne, New Jersey Woman Indicted

A HAWTHORNE NEW JERSEY WOMAN HAS BEEN INDICTED FOR THEFT FROM FORMER EMPLOYER 

     " Yvette Tripicchio Has Been Indicted In Connection With $75,000. Theft From Her Former Employer."

PATERSON, NJ.- On Thursday July 8, 2021, Passaic County Prosecutor announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Passaic County has returned an Indictment against Yvette Tripicchio, 47, of Hawthorne, New Jersey on Two Counts of Theft.


     Tripicchio is Charged in an Indictment returned by The Passaic County Grand Jury with Second Degree Theft and Second Degree Theft by Deception. The Offenses occurred while Tripicchio was employed as a bookkeeper for GSD Industries in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. During her employment Tripicchio deposited GSD Industries checks into her personal bank accounts and tampered with company records, to hide the Theft. The amount of the Theft exceeded $75,000.



     The investigation was conducted jointly by The Financial Crimes Unit of The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office and The Pompton Lakes Police Department.


     The Sentencing Exposure if convicted for a Second Degree Offense is Five to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison.


" The Rules Of The Court Require Us To Include A Statement, Which States: The Charges Are Merely Accusations And The Defendant And Or Defendants Are Presumed Innocent Unless And Until Proven Guilty Beyond Reasonable Doubt."
