Fatal House Fire In Teaneck, New Jersey Being Investigated

A FATAL HOUSE HOUSE FIRE THAT OCCURRED EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING IS CURRENTLY BEING INVESTIGATED

     " Bergen County Authorities Are Investigating A House Fire That Claimed The Life Of Two Individuals In Teaneck, New Jersey."

TEANECK, NJ.- On Thursday, July 8, 2021, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and The Teaneck Police Department are investigating a fatal house fire at 1161 Arlington Avenue in Teaneck, New Jersey.



     At approximately 3:20 a.m. on Thursday July 8, 2021, The Teaneck Police Department received a report of a house fire at 1161 Arlington Avenue. Members of The Teaneck Fire Department located a fire in the area of the second floor. During fire suppression operations, Teaneck Firefighters located two unresponsive individuals on the third floor of the residence, both individuals succumbed to their injuries from the fire.



     An investigation is being conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love, The Bergen County Sheriff's Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton, and The Teaneck Police Department under the direction of Chief Glenn M. O'Reilly.


     No other information was available at the time of reporting.
