PATERSON, NJ.- On Sunday, July 25, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced, that at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 25, 2021, Members of The Paterson Police Department were notified that a 34-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, by way of private vehicle seeking treatment for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Based on the initial investigation, it was determined that the victim was shot in the area of North Main Street and Haledon Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once it is released.
