A BARNEGAT NEW JERSEY MAN HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD

BARNEGAT TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Monday, July 12, 2021 Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, Christopher Gregor, 29, of Barnegat Township, New Jersey was Charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, in connection to an incident that in Barnegat Township on Friday, March 20, 2021.
On Friday, April 2, 2021 Members of Stafford Township Police Department responded to Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, New Jersey in reference to the death of a six-year-old male.
In the course of the investigation of the child's death, Detectives from The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office High Tech Crime Squad came into possession of evidence revealing that Gregor committed of abuse against the child in Barnegat Township on Friday March 20, 2021.
On Friday, July 9, 2021, Mr. Gregor surrendered to authorities at The Barnegat Township Police Department. Mr. Gregor was processed and transported to The Ocean County Jail where he remains lodged pending a detention hearing.
