PATERSON, NJ.- Today, June 12, 2021, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announce that approximately 10:40 p.m. on June 11, 2021, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Market Street and Madison Street in Paterson, New Jersey.
Upon arrival members of The Paterson Police Department located a 14-year-old Juvenile who sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment. A crime scene was subsequently located in the area of Market Street and Madison Street. While investigating the crime scene, members of The Paterson Police Department were advised a second 14-year-old Juvenile arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center, by the way of private vehicle for treatment of non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
