A NORTH ARLINGTON MAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH PRODUCTION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

PARAMUS, NJ.- On Thursday, June 17, 2021 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Omar Orozco, 52, of North Arlington, New Jersey on Child Pornography Related Charges. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, under the direction of Chief Jason Love.
On Thursday June 17, 2021, members of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of Omar Orozco during the course of months-long investigation. The investigation revealed that Orozco communicated with a 14-year-old juvenile on several Social Media Platforms, and those conversations included sexually explicit dialogue. During these online conversations Orozco obtained nude images from the juvenile and also sent nude images to that child.
As a result of the investigation Omar Orozco was arrested on Thursday June 17, 2021, in Paramus, New Jersey and charged with One Count of First Degree Production of Child Pornography; One Count of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and One Count of Third Degree Providing Obscenity to a Child. Orozco was remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
This investigation, led by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Crimes Unit, is continuing.
