JOINT INVESTIGATION CONTINUES INTO SKELETAL REMAINS FOUND IN GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Thursday, June 10, 2021, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced the investigation is continuing into the skeletal remains found by a man in a wooded area in the Township.
On Monday, June 7, 2021, at approximately 8:38 a.m., Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit was contacted by The Galloway Township Police Department, in reference to human remains that were found by a man in a wooded area at 187 South Pomona Road, in Galloway Township. The remains have been determined to be that of a male. An autopsy has been completed and the results are pending.
The cooperative investigation continues between The ACPO Major Crimes Unit, The Southern Regional Medical Examiner's Office, and The Galloway Township Police Department.
