MAN SHOT IN AREA OF ELLISON STREET AND ROSA PARKS BOULEVARD THIS MORNING
" 45-Year-Old Paterson Resident Shot This Morning In Paterson, New Jersey

PATERSON, NJ.- Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at approximately 5:04 a.m. members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Ellison Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of shots being fired.
Upon arrival Police Officers located a potential crime scene, and a 45-year-old male Paterson Resident who sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment for his wounds.
Based on the initial investigation, Police Officers determined that the victim was standing in the area of Ellison Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard with a group of individuals, when he was shot by an unknown assailant.
At this time the investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released as it becomes available.
