ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit requests the public's assistance in identifying a vehicle and persons of interest in connection to a May 14th, fatal shooting of Jacque Sheppard, Jr., Atlantic County Prosecutor Announced.
From multiple in connection to the investigation, ACPO investigators are requesting assistance in identifying a white Honda Odyssey Mini Van with no front license plate, as well as persons of interest depicted in images in connection to the fatal shooting of Sheppard in Atlantic City.
On May 14, 2021, at approximately 11:02 p.m., Atlantic City Police was notified via ShotSpotter, and 911 calls of a shooting in the area of Baltic and Maryland Avenues. Officers of The Atlantic City Police Department Responded and located Sheppard, 34, of Pleasantville who was unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds. Sheppard was transported to The Atlanticare Regional Medical Center City Campus, where he was pronounced dead.
