THE SOUTHERN BORDER, WHEN ARE WE GOING TO OPEN OUR EYES
" With Toddlers Crying Out For Help After Being Dumped At Night, Migrants Drowning, & A Women Shot While Being Raped, When Will We Open Our Eyes To Biden & Democrats True Intentions."
June 5, 2021 Opinion By Englebrook Independent News,
With the recent reports and images from our southern border. It has now become evermore apparent, that since our current administration and their progressive liberal left cohorts continue to ignore and fail to respond to a catastrophic humanitarian and national security crisis which they created, we as a nation need to voice our concerns, before this situation spirals completely out of control.
We need to ask ourselves, has Biden's failure to acknowledge, and respond to this crisis reached the point in which The House of Representatives begin impeachment proceedings, against the President. We also need to call for federal criminal charges to be filed against, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, for failure to uphold federal laws.
Mayorkas has allowed migrants to be released into the interior of The United States, usurping the Federal Laws of immigration, including failure to issue court dates, failure to conduct background checks, and his failure to enforce Title 42 statue 265, which requires Federal authorities to prevent and expel, individuals trying to enter the country during a health emergency.
The actions by Biden and the current Administration, have and are continuing to obstruct the Laws of The United States.
The perpetuated lies from both Biden and Mayorkas, claiming that or border is closed, lacks the proper standards of governing. Vice President Harris was appointed as Border Czar on March 24, yet 72 days later she has failed to even visit the border. But as then Senator Harris, she visited the southern border numerous times, and was critical of former President Trump's policies in the alleged abuses that migrants and unaccompanied children faced.
The abuses migrants are suffering under Biden's present immigration policies, if you can actually call them policies, are reprehensible and repugnant, to a civilized society.
Instead of addressing the core issues of the current influx of illegal migration, their answer to the crisis, is to keep denying it and to throw hundreds of million of taxpayer dollars at Northern Triangle Countries' corrupt leaders. Governments that are rife with corruption, where people are fleeing, in some instances escaping potential loss of life from gangs and their countries' Government criminal behavior.
A migrant who surrendered to Custom and Border Patrol agents Thursday night, was asked by a reporter, Sara Carter from Fox News, what would it take to keep them in their country. His response was that there was nothing that could be done, because of the corruption in his country, he also stated that when he and his wife with their one-year-old child reached the border of El Salvador, Government Military Officers stole their money.
The United States for years has supplied Foreign Aid to The Northern Triangle Central American Countries. The majority of the aid being allocated for Democracy, Human Rights, Peace and Security, with the balance of aid going into combating poverty, boosting education services, healthcare, and to stem the flow of illegal immigration into the U.S.
As Vice President Kamala Harris prepares to fly tomorrow, to Guatemala, for a three day trip to supposedly address the immigration problems, they can't believe that we actually believe them. When in fact there only two reasons for her visit, is First; a photo-op for democrats to promote her run for president in 2024, and Second; is to assure a corrupt Government of Guatemala, that U.S. will give them an additional $300 million in U.S. Aid, while States like Texas, are on their own.
Before giving our opinion, we decided to look into how much aid each of the four countries received over the past ten-years. Our numbers were compiled from U.S. Foreign Aid statistics, these numbers do not include private or non-profit agencies that have given aid to these countries.
The total amount of U.S. Foreign Aid given to Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador between 2010 and 2020, was just a little under $5 billion, to be exact the amount is $4,991,408,000.
Mexico from 2010 through 2020, received $ 2,316,180,000. in U.S. Foreign Aid. In 2010 Mexico received $ 501,500,000., of that amount 81% was for the countries Peace and Security, with the other 19% being divide among Education and Social Services, Health, Multi-Sector, Humanitarian Assistance, Environment, and Democracy, Human Rights, and Democracy. In 2020 even after Former President Trump cut funding, Mexico still received $ 78,910,000., of that 68% went towards Peace and Security, and the other 32% going towards Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance, no other national sector programs were funded.
In 2010, Mexico's population was approximately 114.10 million people, and in 2020 the population was approximately 127.79 million people, an increase of 13.89 million people over the decade. In 2010 the annual per capita income based on U.S. Currency was $9,271.00, although the annual income increased slightly through 2016, it declined to $ 8,421.19 in 2020.
From 2010 through 2020 overall crime increased dramatically, throughout the country, in 2010 Mexico placed the total number of homicides at 14,748, in 2020 Mexico placed the total number of homicides at 24,116., although the homicide rate spiked somewhat higher in prior years, there was an overall increase of 9,368 homicides between 2010 and 2020.
As for Mexico's economic development, in 2010 the Per Capita GDP in U.S. Currency was reported at $9,271.03, and in 2020 was reported at $8,421.19, a Per Capita decline of $849.84, during the ten year period.
Looking at Poverty and Education in Mexico, in 2020 figures estimate that at least 44.2 percent of the population lives under poverty of those, 33.7 percent live under a moderate state of poverty, and at least 10.5 percent live under extreme poverty. Defining poverty in Mexico, that people with an income below the wellbeing threshold, and with one or more social deprivations. Poverty in 2014 was defined as living on less than 2,542 pesos ($157.70) a month in Urban Areas and 1,615 pesos in Rural Areas.
In Education 53.4% of the Rural Population and 36.2% of the Urban Population has an Education below the 7th grade.
Taking A View Of Guatemala:
Guatemala from 2010 through 2020, received $ 1,183,080,000. in U.S. Foreign Aid. In 2010 Guatemala received $ 103,250,000., the top three national sectors, which were funded, was (1.) Economic Development, (2.) Health, (3.) Democracy, Human Rights and Governance. Now in 2020 Guatemala received $ 69,410,000., the top three national sectors, which were funded, was (1.) Economic Development, (2.) Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance, (3.) Education.
In 2010, Guatemala's Per Capita GDP was reported at $2,898.94, in U.S. Currency. Then in 2020 Guatemala's Per Capita GDP was reported at $4,240.00, an increase of $1,341.06 over the decade.
During the ten year period, the majority of the foreign aid given by the U.S. was to be used to boost economic development. Then why in Guatemala with a total population of 14,630,000 in 2010 and in 2020, 17,915,568, the hourly per capita income only increased by $ .99, over that ten year period. The average working individual in Guatemala today has a yearly income of $ 4,680.00, in U.S. Currency.
Then why again in 2020, with an approximate 30% increase in Per Capita GDP Growth, and a increase in Per Capita Hourly Income of $.99, why are there are so many people living in poverty in the country. In a 2019 report, according to The World Bank 59% of the population lives below the poverty line. In addition 23% live in extreme poverty. The indigenous people in Guatemala are the most affected by poverty, in fact 79% of them live below the poverty line, while 40% of them live in extreme poverty. The undisputed facts are that at the close of 2020, of the 17,915,568 people living in Guatemala, 79.2% or approximately 14,153,568 Guatemalans are living in Poverty.
In the present Education system in Guatemala, The United States for International Development, (USAID), Reports on average, Guatemalan Children attend only four years of schooling, and only three out of ten graduate from the sixth grade. Although the literacy rates have improved somewhat, Guatemala still ranks lowest by comparison.
Guatemala's crime rate has also dramatically increased over the past decade, although the homicide rate decreased from 40.73 per 100,000 in 2010 to 22.50 per 100,000 in 2020. Violence and extortion have increased over the same time period. This in part due to Powerful Criminal Organizations, coupled with widespread corruption in all sectors of the Government. In 2010 Guatemala reported 5,793 homicides, the massive number of homicides was due to a Weak Corrupt Police and Judicial System. Amnesty International stated, That There Is A " Culture Of Impunity" With Regards To Murder.
The increase in Poverty along with elevated levels of violent crime has left over 500,000 Orphaned Children in Guatemala today in 2021.
With the continued Gang-Related Violence, in concert with the Lack of response from a Corrupt Government, in failing to combat the violence, are important factors prompting people, including unaccompanied children and young adults to flee the country.
The present situation today, in countries such as Honduras and El Salvador are more adverse, than that of Mexico and Guatemala.
We need to hold the Northern Triangle Countries' Governments accountable in the way the Financial Aid is being squandered. Further we must too hold our own Government Officials accountable, to ensure that the aid we give to these countries, does not end up in the pockets of corrupt and in many instances, criminal officials.
For years we have been allocating vasts amounts of monies to these countries, to improve their Educational, Economic, Health, and Social Services Systems, and what have we along with the over 200,000,000 citizens of the Northern Triangle Countries gotten in return, absolutely nothing.
Today in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador people are being Murdered sometimes at the rate of 104 per week, while others are Maimed and Raped, only to be extorted, or go hungry, and orphaned children are left uneducated, without proper medical care, and basically left to survive on the streets, this needs to stop.
We have given a little under $5 billion over the past decade to improve the living standards for them, What Improvement, while their Government Leaders are living in palacios villas, on our money, they still find the need to extort money from hardworking farmers and garment workers, whose daily wage is just around $5.65 per day.
Today we are frustrated and angry with the hundreds of thousands of migrants that are flooding to our southern border every month. We need to take a moment to stop and think. It's not all their fault that their countries are corrupt and plagued with violence. A majority of the current individuals are fleeing to escape an unbearable situation.
Can you imagine being a five-year-old child, and after making a 1796 mile journey north, to be left alone in the dark under a bridge at the U.S. Border.
The United States is the greatest country in the world, our population is diverse, we come from all walks of life from every corner of the world. Our Nation was founded on immigration, so long as people enter our borders legally. Although our Nation was also founded on the Rule of Law, it seems today the people we elect, no longer uphold the laws.
President Biden, along with his Administration cronies have allowed many hard working migrants to be exploit not only from nefarious criminal organization, but also by our current Government Officials, in moving forward with the destruction of our Nation.
They adjust the truth to suit their own needs, but in fact they just continue to outright lie to the American public. Biden and Mayorkas telling us the border is closed is as pathetic as Biden standing at the podium saying that the nation is experiencing the biggest economic rebound and jobs growth in fifty years. Is he for real, in expecting us to believe that one. We just got over a Global Pandemic, of course jobs and the economy are going to rebound. But telling us it's been the biggest in fifty years, "Come On Man", just like your inauguration was fifteen months ago.
While you take a bike ride the other day, and continue to spread racial discord throughout the nation, our country is crumbling around us. You need to look back on those 47 years that you were in The Senate, did you forget you were one of the biggest racist, that ever entered the Senate Chamber.
Sending your Border Czar Vice President Harris to get to the core root of the immigration problem is as absurd is Former President Trump saying he won the 2020 Election or better yet telling the American people that had no knowledge of your son's business dealings, while you dined with Hunter and his shady business associates while you were Vice President.
For every one hard working immigrant or unaccompanied child that enters the country, four criminals, two terrorist, 10 kilos of cocaine, and 30 pounds of Fentanyl enter down river, everyday.
The really sad part with this whole situation is you being President and with the likes of your favorite Law Makers, The Squad, you do not care one bit about the well being of migrants, you are all narcissistic sociopaths, children are dying along their journey. All Of You Should Be Ashamed Of Yourselves. Fix the problem, you invite them all here. And by the way stop with your racial rhetoric, in creating discord, Come On Man remember what you have said over the past forty years.
