MOTORCYCLIST INJURED ON ROUTE 287 DRIVE-BY SHOOTING

BRIDGEWATER, NJ-A man called police, from a parking lot on Chimney Rock Road in Bridgewater Township, yesterday evening reporting that he had been shot while riding along 287 Southbound, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Alejandro Goez stated.
A short time later in neighboring North Plainfield, the vehicle involved in the shooting was located and stopped by local police.
Three male occupants in the vehicle were taken into custody by responding State Troopers.
The victim was transported to the hospital, with non-life threatening injuries, as of last night there were no reports of his condition.
