PATERSON, NJ.- On Sunday, April 3, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that on April 3, 2022, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department were notified that a 23-Year-Old Paterson man had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey by way of private vehicle for treatment of a non-life threatening Gunshot Wound.


     Based upon the preliminary investigation, the man was in the area of 20th Avenue and Railroad Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey when he was struck by gunfire. Authorities located a crime scene in that area.

Perth Amboy Homicide

PERTH AMBOY MAN FOUND BRUTALLY STABBED TO DEATH IN HIS APARTMENT

     " Middlesex County Authorities Continue To Investigate The Fatal Stabbing Of Barry Idesis."

PERTH AMBOY, NJ.- On Saturday, April 2, 2022 Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Perth Amboy Police Chief Lawrence Cattano announced that on April 1, 2022, Members of The Perth Amboy Police responded to an apartment in The City on a report of a Stabbing.

 

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a male victim in his apartment having succumbed from Multiple Stab Wounds. The victim, later identified as Barry Idesis, had been discovered by his Father who alerted Police. Mr. Idesis was subsequently pronounced deceased on scene.


     An ensuing investigation by Detective Linda Infusino of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and Detective Jeremy Harris of the Perth Amboy Police Department determined that the victim was last seen entering his apartment building on Mechanic Street in the hours of the early evening on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

East Orange Man Charged

EAST ORANGE NEW JERSEY MAN CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH CARJACKING AND BANK ROBBERY

     " Howard Parks Of East Orange Has Been Charged With First Degree Robbery, Carjacking, & Weapons Offenses By Morris County Authorities."

FLANDERS, NJ.- On Friday, April 1, 2022 Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Christoph K. Kimker, Morris County Sheriff James Gannon, Mount Olive Police Chief Stephen Beecher, Randolph Police Chief William Harzula, and Roxbury Chief Dean Adone announced that Howard Parks, 54, of East Orange, New Jersey has been Charged with First Degree Robbery; Two counts of First Degree Carjacking; Third Degree Receiving Stolen Property; and Disorderly Persons Assault by Auto, in connection with a Crime Spree that occurred in Morris County.


     On April 1, 2022, Members of The Mount Olive Police Department responded to the Walmart Parking Lot, located in Flanders, New Jersey, to assist Members of The South Orange Police Department with an ongoing Carjacking Investigation. 


     While investigating on the scene at approximately 12:04 p.m., Police Officers learned of a Carjacking that had just taken place from the parking lot. The suspect made a Threat to Kill the victim during the course of Stealing the Vehicle.


At approximately 12:24 p.m., Members of The Mount Olive Police Department were notified of an Attempted Bank Robbery that had just taken place at The Wells Fargo Bank, located in Flanders, New Jersey, involving the same suspect. The suspect pretended to possess a firearm and passed a note demanding money. However, the suspect fled the area prior to obtaining any money from the bank. 


     At approximately 12:33 p.m., after leaving the bank, the suspect was involved in a Motor Vehicle Crash near the intersection of Eland Avenue and Route 10 in Randolph, New Jersey. The driver of the vehicle involved in this crash sustained non-life threatening injuries. Following the crash, the actor attempted to steal another vehicle, but was taken into custody and identified as Howard Parks of East Orange, New Jersey.

PASSAIC, NJ.- On Thursday, March 31, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman announced that on March 31, 2022, at approximately 12:14 a.m.,  Members of The Passaic Police Department responded to the area of Madison Street and Hoover Avenue in Passaic, New Jersey on a report of fighting and gunfire. 



     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene but were unable to locate a victim.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once released by authorities.

Trenton Man Convicted

TRENTON MAN CONVICTED FOR THE JANUARY 2020 BORDENTOWN CITY BANK ROBBERY

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ.- On Wednesday, March 30, 2022 Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced that a Burlington County Superior Court Jury deliberated less than Two Hours before convicting a 58-Year-Old Trenton, New Jersey man of Robbing a Bordentown City Bank of nearly $7,000 in January 2020.



     George T. Rodgers, of Trenton, New Jersey was Found Guilty on Tuesday of One Count of Second Degree Robbery. Sentencing has been scheduled for May 27, 2022 before The Honorable Gerard H. Breland. Mr. Rodgers has been lodged in The Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly, New Jersey since being taken into custody just hours after holding up the bank.


     The investigation began around 12:00 p.m. on January 14, 2020, after Members of The Bordentown City Police Department responded to The Investor’s Bank in the 200 block of Route 130 on a report of a Robbery. The investigation determined that the suspect approached the bank on a bicycle, then entered wearing a ski mask and passed the teller a note that read, “Give me the money, no dye bags.”


     The investigation further determined that the suspect received $6,779 in Cash, which he placed inside a Purple Crown Royal whiskey bag before fleeing on his bicycle. The investigation the suspect then pedaled to a Hyundai Santa Fe parked at a nearby restaurant, placed the bicycle in the rear of the SUV, entered the vehicle and drove off on Route 130 North.


     Investigators were able to locate the vehicle later that day and, upon making a traffic stop, discovered Mr. Rodgers behind the wheel. The bicycle, the Crown Royal bag, a ski mask and $4,700 in cash were discovered inside of his residence.

Blackwood Man Charged

UNCLE CHARGED AFTER HIS 12 YEAR OLD NEPHEW SUCCUMBS TO A FENTANYL  OVERDOSE

     " Troy Nokes Has Been Charged With First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter For Causing The Death Of His Nephew After Making The Boy Clean In A Narcotics Manufacturing Facility."

GLOUCESTER, NJ.- On Thursday, March 24, 2022 Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins announced the Arrest of Troy Nokes for causing the Fatal Fentanyl Overdose of a 12-Year-Old Child.



     Troy Nokes, 35, of the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township was Charged on Monday, March 21, 2022 with First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter; First Degree Strict Liability for a Drug Induced Death; First Degree Maintaining a Controlled Dangerous Substance Production Facility; Second Degree Employing a Juvenile in a Drug Distribution Network; Six Counts of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Six Counts of Third Degree Witness Tampering; One Count of Fourth Degree Tampering with Evidence; Two Counts of Third Degree Hindering Apprehension; Two Counts of Third Degree Aggravated Assault; and Seven Counts of Narcotics Offenses.


     The Charges are the result of an investigation, after on January 24, 2022, Detectives from The Camden County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit and Members of The Gloucester Township Police Department were notified that a 12-Year-Old Boy was found Unresponsive on his School Bus. After performing Life Saving Measures by the School Nurse and Emergency Medical Service Personnel the Boy Ultimately succumbed and was subsequently pronounced deceased on February 1, 2022.


     An ensuing investigation by Detectives and a Postmortem Examination conducted by The Philadelphia Medical Examiner's Office determined that the Cause of Death was Drug Intoxication, Specifically Fentanyl Toxicity.


     Further investigation revealed that the Child resided in a home where Mr. Nokes, his uncle, stands accused of Manufacturing Fentanyl. Mr. Nokes has also been Charged with directing the deceased Boy to clean Drug Paraphernalia used in the manufacturing process. Witness told investigators told investigators that the Child was not wearing gloves while cleaning the paraphernalia.



     Joanna Johnson, Mr. Nokes' Co-Defendant has been Charged with Tampering with Evidence and Hindering Nokes' Apprehension. Both Nokes and Johnson are currently Detained in The Camden County Correctional Facility pending Trial.

Lodi New Jersey Man Charged

LODI MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER FOR THE FATAL STABBING OF A LEONIA WOMAN ON SATURDAY

LEONIA, NJ.- On Sunday, March 27, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrest of Andrae Daniels, 39, of Lodi, New Jersey on Charges of Murder, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and The Leonia Police Department under the direction of Chief Scott Tamagny.


     On Saturday, March 26, 2022, at approximately 9:59 a.m., Members of The Leonia Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call on a report of a Stabbing at a residence in Leonia. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found 35-Year-Old Alicia A. Arnone dead from an apparent Stab Wound. An investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and The Leonia Police Department determined that Mr. Daniels Fatally Stabbed Ms. Arnone.


     On Saturday, March 26, 2022, Mr. Daniels was Arrested and Charged with First Degree Murder; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. 


     Mr. Daniels was remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending his First Appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Three Charged In Narcotics Investigation

WEEHAWKEN, NJ.- On Friday, March 24, 2022, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that on Thursday, March 24, 2022, Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Municipal Task Force and Narcotics Task Force, The Hudson County Regional SWAT Team, Homeland Security Investigations, and The Union City Police Department Arrested Nicolas Mora-Daza, 24, of Union City, New Jersey, Christopher Gonzalez, 33 of Union City, New Jersey and John Perez, 31, of Weehawken, New Jersey for the sale of Illegal Drugs.


     The Arrests were the result of a One Month Investigation involving the sale of Cocaine to an undercover officer on multiple dates and a Court Authorized Search Warrant of a residence in Weehawken, New Jersey resulting in the recovery of approximately 2.5 Kilograms of Cocaine with an estimated Street Value of $125,000.



     Mr. Mora-Daza has been Charged with First Degree Distribution of Cocaine; First Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine; Five Counts of Second Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine Within 500 Feet of Public Property; Five Counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine Within 1,000 Feet of a School; Second Degree Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine; Third Degree Resisting Arrest; Three Counts of Second Degree Distribution Cocaine; and Two Counts of Third Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine.



     Mr. Gonzalez has been Charged with First Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine; Second Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine Within 500 Feet of Public Property; Second Degree Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine; and Third Degree Resisting Arrest.



     Mr. Perez has been Charged with First Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine; Third Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine; Second Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine Within 500 Feet of Public Property; Second Degree Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine; and Third Degree Resisting Arrest.


     After being processed on the offenses, all Three Men were transported to The Hudson County Correctional Facility where they remain lodged pending their first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Second Teen Charged With Murder

SECOND TEEN CHARGED IN THE DECEMBER 16 2021 JERSEY CITY HOMICIDE

     " 17-Year-Old Teen Surrenders To Detectives In Connection With The December 16, 2021 Fatal Shooting Of 16-Year-Old Pedro Rodriguez."

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Thursday, March 24, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that a Second Juvenile has been Charged in connection with the Death of Pedro Rodriguez, 16, who was Fatally Shot in Jersey City on Thursday, December 16, 2021.


     The 17-Year-Old surrendered himself to Detectives with The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit in Jersey City, New Jersey on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. The teen has been Charged as a Juvenile with Murder; Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.


     After processing on the Charges, the teen remains detained at The Morris County Juvenile Detention Center pending his first court appearance.


     On Thursday, December 16, 2021, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Members of The Jersey City Police Department responded to the area of 600 Communipaw Avenue on a report of shots fired. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered an unresponsive male victim at that location with apparent Gunshot Wounds. The victim, later identified as Pedro Rodriguez, 16, of Jersey City, New Jersey was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 12:00 p.m. The Regional Medical Examiner determined the Cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds and the Manner of death to be homicide.


      A second Juvenile, a 17-Year-Old, was Arrested on Monday, December 27, 2021. The teen was Charged with Murder; Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

BAYONNE, NJ.- On Thursday, March 24, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and The Hudson County Regional SWAT Team Arrested Stanley Feliz, 29, of Bayonne, New Jersey on Charges relating to the Sexual Assault of a 15-Year-Old Girl. The victim, who is now 17-Years-Old  was Supplied Marijuana when the crimes were committed on multiple occasions between June 2019 and June 2020.


     Mr. Feliz has been Charged with Second Degree Sexual Assault; Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and another Count of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.



     The Sexual Assault Arrest Warrant for Mr. Feliz was executed in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at his home on Washington Parkway. Following that Arrest, The Bayonne Police Department conducted a Court Authorized Search Warrant of the home in connection with an unrelated Narcotics Investigation. As a result of that investigation, Mr. Feliz was subsequently Charged with Multiple Narcotics Offenses by The Bayonne Police Department.

Jacksonville Florida Woman Charged

EXPECTANT MOTHER DRIVES FROM FLORIDA AND FATALLY SHOOTS SISTER IN LITTLE FERRY NEW JERSEY

LITTLE FERRY, NJ.- On Wednesday, March 23, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrest of Angielly Dominguez, 27, of Jacksonville, Florida, on Charges of Murder, Possession of a Firearm for an Unlawful Purpose, and Hindering her own Apprehension. The arrest is the result of an investigation by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and The Little Ferry Police Department under the direction of Chief James Walters.


     On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Members of The Little Ferry Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Stabbing at a residence located at 7 Sandhill Court, Little Ferry, New Jersey.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found 21-Year-Old Omelly Dominguez who had succumbed to an apparent gunshot wound to the her head.


     An ensuing investigation conducted by Detectives from The Little Ferry Police Department and The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit determined that Ms. Dominguez traveled from Florida and Shot her Sister, Omelly Dominguez.


     On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, Ms. Dominguez was Arrested and Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Third Degree Hindering Apprehension. Ms. Dominguez was Possessed on the Charges and  was remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending her First Appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Two Charged In Narcotics Investigation

HOBOKEN MEDICAL CENTER DOCTOR AND ROOMMATE CHARGED IN NARCOTICS DISTRIBUTION INVESTIGATION

     " Serge Corporan & Elizabeth Johnson Have Been Charged With Distribution & Possession Of Cocaine After Selling Narcotics To Undercover Agents."

HOBOKEN, NJ.- On Tuesday, March 22, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that on Friday, March 18, 2022, Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force, The Drug Enforcement Administration, and The Hoboken Police Department Arrested Serge Corporan, 31, of Hoboken, New Jersey and Elizabeth Johnson, 38 of Hoboken, New Jersey, and a  Doctor at Hoboken University Medical Center, following an investigation regarding the Sale of Illegal Narcotics.


      During the course of the investigation, Mr. Corporan sold Cocaine in excess of 150 Grams to an Undercover Officer on multiple dates in February and March of 2022. Mr. Corporan was found to be in Possession of an additional 30 Grams of Cocaine at the time of his Arrest. 


     A Court Authorized Search Warrant of a residence Mr. Corporan and Ms. Johnson shared was executed on Friday, March 18, 2022, which resulted in the recovery of 17 Grams of Cocaine, over 60 Ecstasy Pills and Drug Paraphernalia. Over $15,000 worth of Drugs were recovered during the course of the investigation.


     Mr. Corporan has been Charged with First Degree Distribution of Cocaine; Four Counts of Second Degree Distribution of Cocaine; Five Counts of Second Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine Within 500 Feet of Public Property; Second Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine; Third Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine Within 1,000 Feet of a School; Third Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute MDMA Within 1,000 Feet of a School; Second Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute MDMA Within 500 Feet of Public Property; Third Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute MDMA; and Fourth Degree Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with the Intent to Distribute.


     Ms. Johnson has been Charged with Second Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine; Third Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine Within 1,000 Feet of a School; Third Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute MDMA Within 1,000 Feet of a School; Third Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute MDMA; Fouth Degree Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with the Intent to Distribute; Second Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine Within 500 Feet of Public Property; and Second Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute MDMA Within 500 Feet of Public Property.


     Mr. Corporan was transported to The Hudson County Correctional Facility and released following his first court appearance on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Ms. Johnson was released on a summons and is scheduled to make her first court appearance on Friday, April 1, 2022.

RAMSEY, NJ.- On Monday, March 21, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrest of Michael Alfone, 79, of Ramsey, New Jersey on a Child Pornography Charge. The Arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.


     On Friday, March 4, 2022, Members of The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a Court Authorized Search Warrant at the home of Michael Alfone after the course of a months-long Internet Child Pornography investigation. 


     The investigation determined that Mr. Alfone used the Internet to View, Download, and Possess approximately 100 Digital Files depicting Nude and or Sexually Explicit Prepubescent and Pubescent Children.


     As a result of the investigation, Mr. Alfone was Arrested on Friday, March 18, 2022 in Paramus, New Jersey and Charged with Third Degree Possession of Child Pornography. Mr. Alfone was processed on the Charged and released pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing in Hackensack, New Jersey on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.

NORTH BERGEN, NJ.- On Monday, March 21, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and The North Bergen Police Department are investigating a Crash on Kennedy Boulevard that left the occupants of the involved Vehicle with Serious Injuries.


     On Sunday, March 20, 2022, at approximately 8:01 a.m., Members of The North Bergen Police Department responded to the area of Kennedy Boulevard and 26th Street on multiple reports of a Motor Vehicle Collision. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found the occupants of a Honda Accord, a 19-Year-Old Union City man and a 15-Year-Old Girl, both having sustained serious injuries. The two were immediately transported by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center, where they continue to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.


     The initial investigation by The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit determined the Honda Accord was traveling North on Kennedy Boulevard and Struck Multiple Parked Vehicles between 18th Street and 26th Street before Crashing into a Telephone Pole.


     The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the North Bergen Police Department are actively investigating this incident. Arrest Made In Paterson Homicide

PATERSON, NJ.- On Friday, March 18, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that in the early morning hours on Friday, March 18, 2022, Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Belmont Avenue and North 10th Street in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of a Stolen Vehicle. 


     Upon arrival to the report of the Stolen Vehicle, Police Officers were advised of a report of Shots Fired in the area of 125 Belmont Avenue. Upon arrival, the responding Police Officers were unable to locate the Stolen Vehicle or a Shooting Victim. 


     An investigation was initiated, and upon further investigation, Police Officers located the Stolen Vehicle at University Hospital in neighboring Newark, New Jersey where it was discovered that the vehicle arrived with an occupant, Kyle D. Newton, 28-Years Old of Hillside, New Jersey, who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound where he succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased a short time later.


     An ensuing and subsequent investigation determined that Tahji Rosebrough, 22-Years Old from Newark, New Jersey, and Mr. Newton were engaged in a Robbery in Paterson. It was also determined that in the course of committing that Robbery, Mr. Rosebrough was the individual responsible for Shooting Mr. Newton, which resulted in his Death. 



     Mr. Rosebrough was Arrested without incident on March 18, 2022 by The Rutgers Police Department at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey and he was transferred to the custody of The Paterson Police Department for processing. Mr. Rosebrough has been Charged with First Degree Murder; First Degree Armed Robbery; Second Degree Possession of a Handgun for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Handgun.


     If Convicted on the Charges, Mr. Rosebrough will face a potential sentence of Life in New Jersey State Prison.


     The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office has Filed a Motion to have Mr. Rosebrough detained pending the resolution of the Charges against him.

Trenton Drug Dealer Sentenced

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ.- On Thursday, March 17, 2022 Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced that a Trenton Drug Dealer has been Sentenced to 12 Years in New Jersey State Prison for Causing the Death of a Pemberton Township, New Jersey man who Fatally Overdosed on Fentanyl he sold to him during the summer of 2020. 



     Marvin Montoya, 35, of Trenton, New Jersey will be required to Serve Eighty Five Percent of the Sentence before becoming Eligible for Parole. 


     Under a previous agreement with The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, Mr. Montoya Pled Guilty in January in Superior Court to First Degree Strict Liability for Drug-Induced Death. The sentence was handed down March 11, 2022 by The Honorable Gerard H. Breland, J.S.C.


     “Fentanyl continues to take a horrendous toll on the residents of Burlington County,” Prosecutor Coffina said. “We reaffirm our commitment to fighting the unrelenting epidemic of Substance Use Disorder with every tool in our arsenal, from expanded access to treatment through our Straight ... to Treatment program, to continuing to hold drug dealers accountable by pursuing this first-degree charge in every case where the evidence supports it.”


     The investigation began after, 23-year-old Michael Williams, was discovered by a family member in their Browns Mills home the morning of August 11, 2020, after he failed to get up for work. The investigation determined that Mr. Williams had previously traveled to Trenton and purchased the Drugs from Mr. Montoya in the City’s North Ward.


     An autopsy performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood determined that Mr. Williams succumbed to Fentanyl Toxicity.

PARAMUS, NJ.- On Thursday, March 17, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrest of Elijah Hutchens, 19,  of Huntsville, Alabama on Sexual Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Criminal Sexual Contact Charges. The Arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and The Paramus Police Department under the direction of Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg.


     On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, The Paramus Police Department contacted The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged Sexual Assault of a Child. An investigation by Detectives from The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and The Paramus Police Department determined that Mr. Hutchens Sexually Assaulted the Child, who was younger than 16 Years Old, in Paramus, New Jersey on more than one occasion. In addition, Mr. Hutchens was found to be storing an Unsecured Firearm within reach of a child.


     As a result of the investigation, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, Mr. Hutchens was Arrested and Charged in Paramus, New Jersey with Second Degree Sexual Assault; Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact; and the Disorderly Persons Offense of Possessing a Firearm that a Minor is Likely to Gain Access. 


     After being Processed on the Offenses, Mr. Hutchens was Remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Thursday, March 17, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit Arrested William Dudek, 56, of Jersey City, New Jersey on Charges relating to a Sexual Crime involving an 11-Year-Old Girl.


     Mr. Dudek has been Charged with Second Degree Sexual Assault by Contact; and Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 


     After being Processed on the Charges Mr. Dudek was remanded to The Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance. The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office has filed a Detention Motion, which is scheduled to be heard on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.


     The crime occurred on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Central Avenue in Jersey City. Mr. Dudek is a stranger to the victim.

EDGEWATER, NJ.- On Wednesday, March 16, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that Kim Pozharsky, 48, of North Bergen, New Jersey has been Charged with the Unlicensed Practice of Physical Therapy. The Charge is the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.


     On Monday, April 19, 2021, Detectives from The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit received information that Kim Pozharsky, The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Personal Care Professionals Sports Rehabilitation and Medical Wellness Center. formerly located at 935 River Road, Edgewater, NJ, was Treating Patients as a Physical Therapist without a License.


     The investigation determined that Mr. Pozharsky performed Physical Therapy Treatments on Patients of Personal Care Professionals while Unlicensed, and further that he has never been Licensed to Practice Physical Therapy in The State of New Jersey. Mr. Pozharsky has been previously disciplined by The New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and barred from holding himself out to the public as a physical therapist or participating in any aspect of the care and treatment of patients.



     On Monday, March 14, 2022, Mr. Pozharsky was Charged and processed at The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office on Three Counts of Third Degree Unlicensed Practice of Physical Therapy and was released on his own recognizance pending a future Central Judicial Processing Court hearing.

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ.- On Wednesday, March 16, 2022 Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced that a Burlington County Jury has Convicted a Pemberton Township Drug Dealer on Wednesday of causing the Death of a customer to whom she sold Fentanyl-Laced Heroin in 2017.



     The jury, which began deliberating this Wednesday morning, returned Guilty Verdicts against Shannon McGuigan, 36, of Pemberton Township, New Jersey on Counts of First Degree Strict Liability for Drug-Induced Death; Third Degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Third Degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with Intent to Distribute; and Third Degree Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.


     The Guilty Verdicts stem from an investigation that began on the morning of May 30, 2017 after a 25-Year-Old woman was found deceased in her Pemberton Township home by a family member. An Autopsy performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood indicated the Cause of Death was due to Heroin and Fentanyl Toxicity.


     The ensuing investigation determined that the 25-Year-Old woman purchased drugs from Ms. McGuigan a short time before she Fatally Overdosed.


     Ms. McGuigan was taken into Custody upon The Jury returning the Verdicts. Sentencing has been scheduled for April 29, 2022.
