Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography And Lewdness

19-Year-Old Perth Amboy Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography & Exposing Himself To Juveniles On Street

PERTH AMBOY, NJ.- Today, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone reported that a 19-year-old Perth Amboy, New Jersey man who was first charged last Wednesday on child pornography offenses was additionally charged last Thursday with public lewdness.


     On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, Osborne Daubon, 19, of Perth Amboy, New Jersey, was taken into custody and formally charged with one count of third-degree Possession of Child Pornography; and one count of fourth-degree Lewdness.



     Following a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that was sent from the New Jersey State Police to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Unit Detective Kayla Hueston launched an investigation into Daubon's internet activities. Following the investigation last Wednesday, Daubon was taken into custody.


     During the arrest, Daubon's cell phone was seized. During a court-authorized forensic examination of his phone, Detectives uncovered further evidence, including images of child pornography and videos of Daubon exposing himself to juveniles and adult females on the streets of Perth Amboy, New Jersey.


     Accordingly, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, Daubon was additionally charged with two counts of second-degree Sexual Assault; two counts of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Engaging in Sexual Conduct; two counts of fourth-degree Criminal Sexual Contact; and fourth-degree Lewdness.
