MARLTON, NJ.- Last Wednesday, a 48-year-old Marlton, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and jailed following being charged with multiple child sexual abuse material offenses.

According to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw, on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, Dominic Constantine, 48, of the Marlton section of Evesham Township, New Jersey, was formally charged with first-degree Possession of Child Pornography on a File Sharing Program; first-degree Possession of Child Pornography with the Intent to Distribute; first-degree Distribution of Child Pornography; and second-degree Possession of Child Pornography.

After being processed on the charges, Constantine was lodged in the Burlington County Jail pending a detention hearing in Burlington County Superior Court in Mount Holly, New Jersey.

The investigation unfolded after the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office High-Tech Crimes Unit received a tip from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations regarding Constantine's online activity. Following the execution of a court-authorized search warrant on Constantine's Marlton residence, Detectives seized multiple electronic devices belonging to Constantine.

During the initial examination of the devices, Detectives uncovered that Constantine was utilizing his electronic devices to view, download, possess, and distribute digital images and videos of nude and sexually explicit images of prepubescent and pubescent children.

Detectives further determined that Constantine was sharing large amounts of Child Sexual Abuse Material on a file-sharing online network.

The Prosecutor's Office said that the case will be prepared for presentation to a Burlington County Grand Jury for possible indictment.

"The rules of the court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt."
