Active Little Ferry Hit And Run Investigation

Bergen County Authorities Are Searching For The Driver Who Critically Injured A Person And Fled The Scene

LITTLE FERRY, NJ.- The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and the Little Ferry Police Department are continuing their investigation into a serious hit-and-run collision that left an individual hospitalized in critical condition.


     According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Sunday, July 14, 2024, shortly after 3:00 a.m., members of the Little Ferry Police Department responded to the intersection of Route 46 and Bergen Turnpike in Little Ferry following receiving a report of a serious motor vehicle collision.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a vehicle severely damaged and an occupant of the vehicle suffering from serious bodily injuries. The person was immediately transported to an area hospital for treatment.


     During the initial investigation, Police Officers determined that the vehicle had been struck by another vehicle that then fled the scene.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time and is being conducted by Detectives of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and the Little Ferry Police Department. More information may become available once released by Bergen County Authorities.
