31-Year-Old Manalapan Woman Killed In Early Sunday Morning Multi-Vehicle Crash On Route 9 In Old Bridge

OLD BRIDGE, NJ.- Middlesex County Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding an Old Bridge, New Jersey early Sunday morning multi-vehicle car crash that tragically claimed the life of a 31-year-old Manalapan, New Jersey woman and left 4 others hospitalized in stable condition.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on Sunday, June 2, 2024, just shortly after 1:00 a.m., members of the Old Bridge Police Department responded to Route 9 and Ferry Road in Old Bridge following receiving a report of a serious multi-motor vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, Police Officers and First Responders located several vehicles that were involved in a crash. One of the vehicles, a Ford Mustang with four occupants, all of whom sustained injuries were immediately transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where they were treated and remain hospitalized in stable condition.
Another vehicle involved in the crash, a late-model BMW, the driver who sustained serious injuries was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Univesity Hospital and is listed in critical condition. The passenger in the BMW, Kristina Godich, 31, of Manalapan, New Jersey sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
All other drivers and occupants in the other vehicles involved in the crash were treated at the scene by First Responders and released.
