Man Struck By Gunfire On A Paterson Street

18-Year-Old Paterson Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Gunfire Friday Afternoon

PATERSON, NJ.- Passaic County Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a shooting that left an 18-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man hospitalized after he was struck by gunfire yesterday afternoon on a Paterson, Ne Jersey Street.


     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Friday, May 31, 2024, just shortly after 4:00 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a report of gunfire in the area of 10th Avenue and East 25th Street in the City of Paterson.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers found evidence of a shooting and an 18-year-old Paterson man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time as authorities continue to search for the gunman.
