18-YEAR OLD CHARGED FOR KILLING A 65-YEAR-OLD FREEHOLD MAN IN MARCH 6 2024 FATAL CAR CRASH

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ.- An 18-Year-Old North Brunswick, New Jersey man has been Charged in connection with a Fatal Motor vehicle Crash that Claimed the Life of a 65-Year-Old Freehold, New Jersey man that occurred on March 6, 2024, in The City of New Brunswick.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on March 6, 2024, just shortly after 7:00 a.m., Members of The New Brunswick Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Serious Motor Vehicle Crash on Route 1 North near The Goodkind Bridge in New Brunswick.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a Two-Vehicle Crash, that involved an Infiniti Sedan that had Struck a Ford Pickup Truck, Killing the Truck's Driver, Dennis Frick, 65, of Freehold, New Jersey, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Driver of the Infiniti, Noah Reyes, 18, of North Brunswick, New Jersey was not injured in The Crash.
The initial investigation by Members of The New Brunswick Police Department and The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office determined that Mr. Reyes was Driving Southbound on Route 1 at an Excessive Rate of Speed when he lost control of the Infiniti crossing the Center Median becoming Airborne and Shearing the Roof of The Pickup Truck, Killing Mr. Frick Instantly.
Following The Investigation, on Monday, April 1, 2024, Noah Reyes was Taken into Custody and Formally Charged with One Count of Second Degree Vehicular Homicide. Reyes was Processed on The Charged and Released on a Complaint Summons with Pretrial Monitoring Conditions, requiring Reyes to Surrender his Passport and New Jersey Driver's License.
